We're questioning if we're a gateway system and we thought we'd ask some people here to see what y'all thought.
So, we have (undiagnosed) OSDD-1b, meaning that we have no amnesia between switches. We're also monoconscious and have no innerworld. Because of this, we don't exactly fit a lot of the standard definitons of plurality. However, we really relate to the concept of 'walk-in' headmates coming and going often, as that's happened to us a lot.
For example, in August we got a headmate named Noah. He fronted a couple times over the course of a week or so, then left a few days later and never came back. We know that he existed, but he's no longer in the system - he's just gone, like he's dead or something. This has happened a lot of times.
Almost all of our new headmates come from another universe, reality, or place. Some of them are fictives, but a lot of them just remember having a normal life. For example, Noah remembered being in middle school, hanging out with his friends, and having a crush on a girl he knew. There's only a few people who don't remember living in another universe, and those people are - whether by coincidence or not - the hosts of the system.
So, do y'all think that we could be a gateway system?
