Are parasian median systems still considered systems even though they're mostly on the singlet side of the spectrum?
Are their systems who can control their alter/headmate switching? Or is it impossible?

Ok hi- were new system and we have been trying to do my research on it since we found out. I think i may be able to answer you questions but since i do not know all my info i would say take this with a grain of salt. I cant answer number one sorry. 2. No. At least i dont think so. 3. Not all dissociative disorders are caused by traumatic events, DID on the other hand is a result of trauma. 4. In order to feel more in control of the situation, sexual protectors may take sexual abuse. (sorry if this confusing-) I bet someone we knowns more well be able to help. - Sam
it would depend on the system! some median systems consider themselves systems, whereas others consider themselves parts of one person. for example, we have a median subsystem and all of the facets within it consider themself one person
yep! there's almost never complete control over switching, but gatekeepers can usually force switches
that would depend on who you ask - there's no definitive answer right now. but personally I think that all systems have some form of trauma, even if it's considered to be "mild" trauma
sexual protectors are alters who protect other alters when they're in sexual situations. this could be protecting them from sexual assault, or it could manifest in a different way, like a sexual protector getting triggered to the front by mentions of sexual things
