The APA made the DSM-5, the widely used diagnostic material for DID and OSDD, among other mental disorders.

Dr. Eric Yarbrough, distinguished member of the APA, published a text called "Transgender Mental Health" (that we couldn't track down on archive.org T_T).

(Sorry the second one is blurry, we couldn't find a better quality image.)

The DSM-5 was published by the APA (American Psychiatric Association) in 2013; Transgender Mental Health by Dr. Eric Yarbrough, "Distinguished Fellow" of the APA was published in 2018.

TL;DR: Endogenic systems have been recognized by the same people who made the DSM-5 for 5-6 years now.

That's super awesome! Wi were able to find a PDF of the book here. The section on plurality can be found on PDF page 174, document page 157.

Ok i read it and.... i still don't really get it but uh,, oh well. what are like.. the symtoms of endogenic systems? are they the same as DID-OSDD systems?? /genq -RK

Hi! Okay, so endogenic systems do not have DID/OSDD-1. However, they might still have a dissociative disorder that isn't tied to their system at all, like DPRD and/or USDD. In those cases, endogenic systems would experience dissociative symptoms. However, in the vast majority of cases, endogenic systems do not have dissociative disorders, and therefore do not experience dissociative symptoms on the scale of DID/OSDD-1. The only thing that all endogenic systems and all DID/OSDD-1 systems will always have in common is plurality.
