Traumagenic

So, this is really the only place outside of some really close friends that I've been open about being part of a system to, so like a lot of anxiety happening lol.

I am the host to the Black Hole Collective! We are bodily 16 (so, this means, please don't be weird if you're bodily 18+? just like... don't try to date any of us or whatever. just a small boundary for us, please!). We aren't sure how our system came to be, exactly, but I do believe we have been plural for the majority of our life. I do know our system is definitely traumagenic, and that's really it.

Our system currently has 29 counted members, including members of the subsystem I'm part of! I've been aware of being a system for about... 7 months now? I think? Can't really remember, lol. But, it's been a chaotic mess, but I guess that really describes us as a whole.

But, I'm hoping that we can gain some friendly community here, and feel safe talking about our experiences! :3

Am i considered a system (questioning that i am traumagenic/neurogenic Median system) if i don't exactly experience alters, but different versions of myself? i use two names depending on which version of myself takes over. liek when i am calm and happy and stuff, i 'feel like Ace' & use she/he/they/xe pronouns, and when i feel angry and annoyed, i 'feel like Sam' & use he/they/void/xe pronouns. different 'people' (which are just different versions of myself but still a LITTLE different from each other????????). idk im very confused.

But neurotraumagenic Median System just feels correct. idkkkkkkk

I’m not sure if I have DID, but I don’t know where else to go for advice like this. There are named voices in my head and I only recently started conversing with them like actual people (for years I just argued with them and treated them like impulsive thoughts or mental illness).

One of them, lambda, really wants to front. I’m willing to let someone else front because I’m really tired of being conscious 24/7, but I don’t know how to get them to front. For one, the voices in my head feel more like fragments than full alters, so I don’t even know if lambda can front. (Again, I don’t think I fully qualify for DID, but they really want to front so here I am.) For another, I’m a little scared of losing control. lambda is sharp tongued and started as a persecutor (we’re still working on it) so I’m scared of what they’ll do. There’s a much calmer person in my head named Blue and I wouldn’t worry if he fronted, but he doesn’t want to front. What should I do?

I have a friend, W, who is wondering if she has/is a system. She used to be bullied in primary school what caused her to have suicidal thoughts and even plans. Therefore, she is pretty sure that her system is traumagenic. She has four people/voices in her head that function more like tulpas than alters - they can communicate with her, but do not 'come out' do not take control over the body. Two of them are supportive beings, one of them formed directly in response to W's suicide plans. The other two are destructive beings who keep on telling W that they hate her and that she'd be better off dead. The trauma that W experienced took place both in her early childhood (7-9 yo) and in later stages of it (12 yo). Her 'guides', as she calls them, emerged when she was 12, which is significantly later than the age when it is possible to 'get' DID. Are they a system? Is there a specific term for them except for 'traumagenic'? Is it possible to form a traumagenic system outside of the dissociative identity disorder?
