The -genic suffix is a plurality-related suffix created in 2014 by The Lunastus Collective, formerly Alnilam. They describe the origin of a plural, that is, the phenomena or phenomenon that caused them to become plural, and were created to describe being plural/multiple without needing to use the overarching word, and as a response to a large number of system exclusionists not wishing for people who didn't have a dissociative disorder to use the already existing terms[1].
Over the years since the coining of the term, many system origins have been coined that use the -genic suffix, and it is a common way to describe the way an individual's plurality came to exist.
