Age sliding is when a headmate in a system changes age. An alter who age slides is referred to as an age slider. Age sliders will usually have a range of ages that they slide between.[1][2] Age sliders can vary in age range and the general age group they side through/between.[3]
While the original coining date is unknown, the age slider flag was created by Tumbr user plural-labels on August 31st, 2020. The simplified flag was posted on the same day.[4] This is a psychiatric term.
