A bridged sidesystem, also known as a linked sidesystem, is a type of sidesystem that is parallel but has some kind of bridge between the sidesystems that allows headmates to travel from one sidesystem to another easily. This could be seen as a literal bridge, or as something that acts like a bridge and all of the sidesystems are within one body.[1]

Much like normal sidesystems there may be a "main system" that most of the common fronters come from, or all sidesystems may function equally.

This term can also be used to describe a system that may be connected to another outside system directly, those would be called linked or bridged systems.

The term was coined on the 26th of August 2021 by Tumblr user icarusoblivion to help explain how their system works after not being able to find any term to describe it.

The flag was created the next day (27.8.21) by the same user
