An impeter is a headmate that causes bodily harm to the system that they reside within.

An impeter may or may not want to intentionally cause this harm to the system, and might cause the harm in an attempt to help the system, if they believe the harm would help the system in the long run, or might accidentally harm the system through various means such as starvation or reckless behavior.

Intended Use[]

This is not meant to be a negative or harmful term; rather, it is only intended to describe a headmate's behavior that they may or may not be able to control. These headmates can act like and be treated like any other headmate depending on how they are as a headmate, and not need any additional treatment as a headmate.

Etymology[]

The word "impeter" comes from the Latin word "impetum", meaning "attack, violence, assault, or fight." Although the term might have been called an impetur, and, indeed, headmates with this role are often called impetur, the headmate in question that coined this term is named Peter Parker and thought it would be quite humorous to essentially have his name in the term, especially as it is a term that describes himself.

Related Terms[]

Impeters may also fall under the umbrella attacker, if they choose to identify as such, or they may simply be a headmate who unintentionally causes harm by being a prankster, or even a jokestar, in unfortunate instances.

Impeter may, in some cases, be considered a synonym of persecutor.

Depending on the harm that an impeter causes, they might have be be rehabilitated by a rehabilitator or have a DNI Holder monitor their fronting activities.
