A paranoia holder within a system refers to a specific role of which the alter bears the manifestation of paranoid symptoms associated with the body's neurodivergence or mental illness. Similar to emotion holders, these individuals may carry and manage distinct paranoid symptoms, collaborating with others in the system, such as anxiety holders, to collectively navigate the experiences within the individual's mental health condition. For instance, a paranoia holder and an anxiety holder might coexist and collaborate in a system, or one alter might have both of these roles.
These alters might be pulled to the front when someone is experiencing heightened paranoia, having hallucinations, or be triggered by a paranoia-inducing event.
