Sector is a system structure term. It refers to a subdivision of a layer that experiences memory separation and/or communication difficulties. It was coined by The Temenē Alliance in 2019 or earlier, and was added to the short-lived Blossom bot in July 2020.
It is primarily a term used by systems with Dissociative Identity Disorder or another disorder that caused their system, or systems that are otherwise disordered and not seeking diagnosis, but can also be used by Polygenic systems that are overall not disordered but have a portion of their system that experiences memory separation and/or communication difficulties.
