A trauma holder is a headmate that holds significant trauma. Often, these alters keep the rest of the system safe from that knowledge. These alters may hold any kind of trauma (including intratrauma or exotrauma) and, while more common in traumagenic systems, can appear in systems of any origin. These alters may also be called trauma bearers.
